Thvia Shetley usa termos das matemáticas para describirse como un produto  de todas as mulleres que a precederon, e como tal, transmisora dese legado.

 

Thvia Shetley uses mathematical terminology to describe herself as a product of all her women ancestors and as a woman who will pass on that legacy.

Algoritmos maternais (de Thvia Shetley)

Eu son a suma das idades                                        

empezando antes da miña nai

antes da miña avoa,

e antes da nai da miña avoa.

Eu son  o produto das súas eleccións matriarcais,

o cociente das súas accións, reflexións, e auto-imaxes.

Eu son a diferenza das súas xeracións.

E lego a ecuación desta herdanza

ás matrices dos meus legados vivos.

I am the sum of the ages

beginning before my mother,

before my grandmother,

and before my grandmother's mother.

I am the product of their matriarchal choices,

the quotient of their actions, reflections, and self-images.

I am the difference of their generations.

And I bequeath the equation of this inheritance

to the matrices of my living legacies.
